Aged Shou Mei 寿眉陈茶 2018

寿眉 Shou Meis are made fully from leaves, compared to other Fujianese whites with buds, which results in a more intense flavour. Harvested from Fuding 福鼎 in Fujian, the very birth place of whites, this batch is made from 大白 (Da Bai) cultivar, and stored in comparatively warmer conditions, resulting in a more facilitated oxidation for its age! White teas generally age well to create a more herbal flavour. Brews a soothing drink with notes of scented grass, orange peels, and cooked chrysanthemums + pears!
