Fuding Imperial White Peony 福鼎牡丹王 Spring 2022

牡丹王, which translates to the grand name of King of White Peonies, are teas made with more buds than the standard White Peonies of buds and top leaves. Buds (unopened baby leaves) are prized for their more delicate flavours! Harvested from Fuding 福鼎 in Fujian, the very birth place of whites, this batch is made from 大白 (Da Bai) & 大毫 (Da Hao) cultivars, both prized for their luxuriant white furs! Brews a delicate yet complex drink with notes of almonds and water chestnuts, with chrysanthemum sweetness!
