Golden Flowers Liu Bao 金花六堡茶 2017
$14.00Price
Liu Bao teas are not as often associated with Golden Flowers as Fu Zhuan Brick teas but the responsible fungus Eurotium Cristatum is found in Wuzhou as well! The characteristic yellow spores are not as visible in this loose-leaf batch as the leaves are not compressed and the golden flowers less likely to adhere, but the associated monk fruit notes give its presence away! This batch is made from Wuzhou Guiqing middle sized leaf cultivar 桂青种, harvested from Shang Lin County 上林县 at 800m. Brews an exceptional clean liquor with the monk fruit highlight on a surprisingly lively earthy base note.
