Grown on the pristine foothills of the Himalayas, harvested in early April from 2100masl at the highest points of Gopaldhara estate, this AV2 cultivar batch of leaves is sundried then super lightly oxidized to preserve the fresh flavours of spring! Gopaldhara is the highest estate in Darjeeling and sits on the border with Nepal! The classic Darjeeling first flush character is exquisitely presented here: golden liquor, medium bodied with honey dew melon sweetness & citrus highlights, followed by an apple aftertaste!
