High Mountain (Cui Feng) Jin Xuan 翠峰金萱 Spring 2024

TTES #12 Jin Xuan 金萱  cultivar is the original ‘milk oolong’ that inspired the current condensed-milk flavoured oolongs.  It’s naturally occuring flavors are more subtle, with buttery sweetness and floral vegetal notes! This batch harvested from Cuifeng 翠峰 in Nantou is more delicate because of its high altitude growth of about 1800masl! Brew with mineral water for a creamy clarified milk mouthfeel, and with distilled water for a more fragrant nose. Both brews finish with a lingering sweetness on the palate!
