Wakocha 和紅茶 refers Japanese Hongcha, or black tea in western terms. The flavours tend to be milder, more delicate and less astringent, somewhat similar to Taiwanese Hongcha. A rare cultivar, Yume Kaori  夢香, which translates to ‘Dream Aroma’, is a cross between Samayakaori and Miyazaki No. 8 in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1986. The brewed tea has initial notes of roasted sesame, which retreats into more scented wood with floral highlights! No milk and sugar needed to enjoy this cup!
