Rohini Darjeeling Golden Tips Second Flush 2023

Grown on the pristine foothills of the Himalayas, and harvested in late spring from about 1000masl, this batch is made from young buds picked from AV2 cultivar bushes. The usual darker oxidation that accompanies the second flush leaves results in a darker, maltier brew, balanced by the lighter body and raw sugar sweetness from the young buds-type of leaves. We like this tea brewed at a lower temperature to enjoy the comparatively gentle flavours! No milk and sugar needed to enjoy this cup!
