Shuixian Dancong White Mini Bricks 水仙单丛茶砖 Spring 2025

​Dancong refers to a group of teas traditionally grown and made by the Teochew people on Phoenix Mountains. They are loved for their naturally occuring fruity and floral flavors. Almost always made into an oolong, this white tea is unusual in the region.  Made from Shuixian cultivar but grown on Phoenix Mountains, the 'mountain' characteristics of this tea presents itself on a base of mild minerality and the sweetness that Dancongs are known for. The sweetness and fragrance are intensified with the  compression of the leaves! This unusual micro batch brews a light bodied liquor with buttery smoothness and white floral highlights, which lasts many steeps!
